Education is the first thing poverty takes. We refuse to let it.
A child who shows up to class without a notebook stops raising their hand. A teenager who can't afford a calculator quietly fails the first exam. By the third missed assignment, school stops feeling like theirs. We run so that no child in Spain starts the year already behind.
The reality
September is when kids get left behind.
Every autumn, thousands of families in Spain face the same impossible math: rent, groceries, and a €500 pile of school supplies their child needs on day one. The child who arrives without a notebook stops raising their hand. The teenager without a calculator quietly fails the first exam.
